Prerequisites: 120 credits at Masters level from the Masters in Public Health or Masters in Public Health (International Health) at The University of Nottingham

Corequisites:  None.

Summary of Content:  Students will work with individual supervisors, module convenors and academic staff, and consult with other colleagues as necessary to : Work with an individual supervisor to develop a project idea Produce progress report 1 for review by their supervisors Apply phased development of ideas into a workable dissertation Develop a protocol and apply for Divisional ethics approval and additional ethics documentation as required by the specific project Present findings as either a verbal or poster presentation at a project conference Critically appraise literature Use electronic and library resources for dissertation production, reference recording and literature searches Obtain feedback from a supervisor re their conduct during the process Write up and submission of a 10,000 word dissertation in the required format

Education Aims:  To present a 10000 word dissertation in the required format. To have developed key skills in planning and producing a Masters level dissertation
