Education Aims: To introduce the students to AI, some of its history and some of the common techniques.
Learning Outcomes: Knowledge and Understanding: Knowledge and experience of key AI techniques and their implementation. Intellectual Skills: The ability to think independently while giving due weight to the arguments of others. Professional Skills: Enhanced programming skills. The ability to evaluate available AI tools, algorithms and data structures and select those appropriate to a given situation. Transferable Skills: The ability to solve problems and write detailed reports on the solution adopted.
