Summary of Content: This module provides a basic introduction to computer communication networks. It provides an overview of underlying technologies including data transmission techniques, Local Area Networks, Wide Area Networks, internet working and networkapplications. Particular attention is paid to the Internet environment and the TCP/IP protocols.
