Target Students:  Joint MSc Entrepreneurship Programme Students and Business School MSc students meeting pre-requisites and subject to compliance with module choice requirements, as listed in the degree programme specification. In addition, other MA/MSc students meeting pre-requisites and subject to the discretion of the Director of MSc Programmes. Also available to PHD students from DTCs. There is a limited number of places on this module. Students are reminded that enrolments which are not agreed by the Offering School in advance may be cancelled without notice.

Summary of Content:  This module introduces to the importance of, and the processes involved in, the commercial exploitation of science and technology and involves a creative approach to the generation of a business concept. The development of a business idea forms an integral part of the students managed learning.

Ten weekly 3-hour lectures/seminars. Please note all non-lectures will be timetabled in the Business School
