Target Students:  Individuals with experience of work in any area of Information Technology in relation to human work, learning and recreation. There is a limited number of places on this module. Students are reminded that enrolments which are not agreed by the Offering School in advance may be cancelled without notice.  Available to JYA/Erasmus students.

Summary of Content:  Students will conduct supervised work on a practical project relating to the design, evaluation or implementation of ICT for the support of learning. The details of their project will be negotiated with a supervisor

  • 5 hours contact time including small group work and discussion
  • 30 hours engagement with VLE or other system supporting learner reflection
  • 25 hours structured study
  • 40 hours preparation of portfolio and presentation
  • Method of Assessment: 

    Assignment 100 One written assignment of 2,000-3,000 words, or equivalent portfolio to complement oral presentation
